I love the snow! Definitely prefer winter over summer.

I've been skiing since I was 8 and started backcountry touring in high school.

I'm not the hardest charging or the most intense. I like sunrises, the quietness, and the satisfaction of climbing up a mountain over many hours before skiing back down.

Backcountry skiing has taught me patience, grit, and friendship. I've learned how to make decisions under high pressure. Occasionally I've turned around after many hours of climbing due to avalanche danger. It's also helped me value God's beautiful creations.
